More than a tour company — we're storytellers
Velona Travels was founded in 2012 by a passionate team of Sri Lankans who believed the best way to share their homeland was through genuine, deeply local experiences — not rehearsed tourist trails.
Over a decade on, we've welcomed more than 5,000 travellers from 60+ countries. We've guided them through ancient kingdoms, introduced them to families who've grown tea for four generations, and watched them fall completely in love with this island.
We're a small team with big hearts. Every itinerary is treated as if we're planning our own family holiday — with the same care, the same attention, and the same pride.
